1) 주제: Dreaming an Impossible Dream: An Empowering Education for All

 불가능에 대한 도전: 모두를 위한 교육

3) 장소: 한양대학교 (서울캠퍼스)

한국다문화교육학회는 MOU를 맺은 다문화교육관련 해외 두 학술단체와 학문적 교류를 통해 국제학술대회를 개최하여왔다:
1) 미국다문화교육학회 (NAME, The National Association for Multicultural Education)
2) 국제상호문화교육학회 (IAIE, The International Association for Intercultural Education)

2014년도 국제학술대회에도 두 학술단체 를 대표하는 학자들이 발표자로 참석한다.

더불어, 2014년도 한국다문화교육학회 국제학술대회에는 외국 소속 학자 50여명, 내국 소속 학자 70여명이 발표자로 참석하여,보다 풍부한 다문화교육 관련 담론의 장이 마련될 것으로 기대된다.
